A) Objective: Provide evaluation of professional knowledge, skills and expertise of an individual who will be responsible for the development and implementation of programs for hazardous materials handling, transportation, waste and storage operations including emergency response programs for companies, corporations, communities, regions, governmental organization, and similar entities.

D) Who Qualifies? Individuals working in the field of hazardous materials management, hazardous waste management, hazardous materials incident response, public safety employees, and individuals employed in related fields are eligible to apply. These individuals must also fulfill all of the educational and practical requirements.
Applicants, who meet the application, academic, experience and general requirements, submit required fees and are approved by the WSO Certification Board, must take the written examination.
